On June 26, 2026, Busan Finance Center (BFC) hosted an Investor Relations (IR) session for a delegation from Investment Fiji.

Participants from BFC included President Myongho Rhee; Youngdae Cho, Head of the Global Financial Hub Division; Euna Kim, Head of the External Relations Team; and Manager Daejin Kim. The Investment Fiji delegation included Kamal Chetty, CEO of Investment Fiji, and Shyla Chand, Advisor. Representatives from Wecon also attended the session.

During the meeting, BFC introduced the Busan Financial Hub, Busan’s major industries, and the city’s specialized maritime and digital finance ecosystem. BFC also presented key incentives available to companies entering the Busan Financial Hub.

The participants exchanged views on Fiji’s major industrial trends, including its maritime industry and agricultural development goals, and discussed ways to strengthen future cooperation between Korea and Fiji.
