From May 19 to 22, 2026, Busan Finance Center (BFC) participated in a business trip to Hong Kong for a joint Investor Relations (IR) initiative organized by the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) and local governments, including Seoul and Busan.

Youngdae Cho, Head of BFC’s Global Financial Hub Division, attended the program. During the visit, BFC visited and held a meeting with Huatai Securities, where it introduced the Busan Financial Hub and exchanged views on the current status of Korea’s financial market.

BFC also participated in the FSS Investor Roundtable: Hong Kong, where it promoted the Busan Financial Hub to financial institutions not yet operating in Korea and to the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA).
