On June 25, 2025, President Myongho Rhee visited TheCityUK in London to discuss strategies for enhancing Busan’s competitiveness as an international financial center. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on regulatory frameworks, investor engagement, and global positioning, with TheCityUK offering insights based on London’s experience as a leading global hub. They also discussed opportunities for collaboration in the lead-up to the 2026 WAIFC Annual General Meeting, which will be hosted in Busan.
