BFC (Busan Finance Center) participated in a virtual working-level meeting of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC), where it introduced major policy developments and trends related to the Busan financial hub. Key topics included the promotion of establishing a Southeast Region Investment Bank, the Bank of Korea’s Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) initiative, and the Busan Digital Asset Exchange (BDAN). BFC also encouraged attendees to show interest and participate in the 2026 WAIFC Annual General Meeting to be held in Busan.
