President Myongho Rhee was invited to deliver a special lecture for the 15th Global Business Leaders Program organized by the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Under the theme “Global Financial Trends and the Future of Busan Financial Hub,” President Rhee spoke to around 60 participants, including local business CEOs, executives, and professionals. He discussed changes in the international order, including war, sanctions, supply chain restructuring, and shifts in the monetary order, and explained how Busan should institutionalize its development as a financial hub in light of the historical evolution of global financial centers. He also called for active interest and support from Busan’s business community in fostering Busan as a financial hub.
