President Myongho Rhee hosted an investment promotion session for asset management companies, venture capital firms, and other financial companies in the Seoul metropolitan area at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

At the session, President Rhee introduced Busan’s growth potential and investment environment as a financial hub. Speakers included Son Young-chae, Head of the National Growth Fund Promotion Team at the Financial Services Commission; Seo Jong-gun, President of Busan Technology Startup Investment Agency; Shin Sang-jun, Team Leader at Korea Growth Investment Corporation; and Jung Woo-sung, CEO of Waterline Partners. The session provided an opportunity to share government policy support related to the National Growth Fund, investment opportunities in innovative startups, and Busan’s investment environment with around 120 participating companies.
