President Myongho Rhee attended a public hearing on the Busan Global Hub City Special Act as an expert witness on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

The hearing was organized by the bill review subcommittee of the National Assembly Public Administration and Security Committee.

At the hearing, President Rhee emphasized that legislative and institutional support is essential for developing Busan as an international financial center. He also noted that, in addition to the enactment of the special act, institutional reforms in other finance-related laws are necessary in line with issues raised by domestic and international experts.
