□ Details ｏ The Busan Finance Center held the 7th Brown Bag Meeting to promote Busan as a maritime finance hub and to build an expert network.
ｏ Prof. Nikos Nomikos from Bayes Business School was invited to discuss the Greek shipping industry and how its practices could be applied to Busan’s financial center.
Prof. Nomikos focuses his research on structuring risk management products. While working at the Baltic Exchange, he oversaw the development of the Baltic Capesize Index (BCI), Baltic Dry Index (BDI), and Baltic Handysize Index (BHSI), and developed a system to monitor the quality of freight rate reporting to support the Forward Freight Agreements (FFA) market.
